Das ICT&S Center stellt mit Unterstützung durch Sponsoren den ersten freien, öffentlichen Internetzugang in Salzburg zur Verfügung. Der Hot-Spot Max Reinhardt-Platz gegenüber dem Festspielhaus verschafft allen Salzburgern und Gästen den Eintritt in den Cyber Space. Alle Webservices (HTTP und HTTPS) können genutzt werden. Aus rechtlichen Gründen sind auf e-Mail Dienste FTP basierende Services nicht verfügbar.

The ICT&S Center provides the first free public internet access point supported by sponsorship. The Hot-Spot Max Reinhardt-Platz allows all inhabitants and guests of Salzburg to enter Cyber Space right opposite the Festspielhaus. All Webservices (HTTP and HTTPS) can be used. Due to legal terms e-Mail services and FTP based services cannot be provided.

Das positive Potential des Internets für die Menschen in Salzburg deutlich zu machen, hat für das ICT&S Center der Universität Salzburg einen hohen Stellenwert. Durch einen freien Internetzugang für alle kommen wir diesem Ziel einen Schritt näher.

It is a high priority of the ICT&S Center at the University of Salzburg to promote the positive potential of the Internet for all citizens and guests of Salzburg. By providing free access to the Internet we are making one step forward to achieve this objective.
