Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for Least Developed Countries (LDCs).
Lessons learned from 4 Case Studies in Yemen, Malawi, Guatemala and Lao PDR.
Topic and Goals of the dissertation
The aim of my research is to examine the societal diffusion of the Internet in least developed countries. Therefore I will conduct case studies in Haiti, Yemen, Laos and Malawi. The goal is to improve the quality of social existence through the use of ICTs and to bridge the Digital Divide (2.0) through digital literacy.
